Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport, where, having cleared customs and immigration, our representative will meet you in the Arrivals Hall. He will accompany you to the Air Botswana check in counters.
Air Botswana, flight BP212, departs Johannesburg at 10h10, arriving in Maun at 11h50. Check in time will be 1.5 hours prior to departure time.
Having cleared customs at Maun Airport, and collected your luggage, a representative of Maun Lodge will meet you in the Arrivals Hall, and will transfer you to the Lodge, stopping at the bottle store en route, where you may purchase drinks of your choice for your safari.

Located only 2,5km’s from the town centre and just 4km’s from the International Airport, Maun Lodge is the ideal location for overnight accommodation before heading off on safari.
For those on a limited budget, there are 12 thatched chalets that offer excellent value for money. The chalets are all en-suite, fully air-conditioned with tea & coffee facilities and local television.
There is an A la Carte restaurant offering a full menu and a range of daily Chefs specials together with international and traditional cuisine.
The Boma, an open air traditional bar and restaurant offers local dishes including the famous barbeque as well as a light snack menu.
The Pygmy Goose Bar is an ideal rendezvous spot on route to the A la Carte restaurant.
At Maun Lodge you will be accommodated in an en-suite thatched bungalow on an accommodation only basis.
Days 2, 3 and 4
After breakfast, a representative of the Hotel will transfer you back to Maun Airport, in time to meet up with your Mobile Safari Team.
The tour starts early in the morning from Maun, the ‘gate’ to the Okavango Delta.
After 100 kilometres by road, you will enter the Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Africa.
The park covers swamp areas as well as dry land. Three nights will be spent in this Park searching for the wide variety of animals and birds the Reserve offers, while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. Game drives as the sun rises, and in the late afternoon as the sun sets, will be the norm. Wild camping in exclusive sites, your safari team will build bush toilets and showers. (B, L, D)
Maun – Moremi Game Reserve: 150km, 6hrs (including game drive)
Days 5, 6 and 7
Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, is your next destination where your search for wildlife continues. You will traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains, and then head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river with the call of the African fish eagle following you. Wild camping in exclusive sites, your safari team will build bush toilets and showers.. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Moremi – Savuti: 120km. 5-6hrs
Day 6: Savuti – Chobe River: 170km, 5hrs
Today you will cross the Zambezi River by ferry, then drive to Livingstone on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls, where you will spend the night at a comfortable lodge (Waterfront Lodge) on the banks of the Zambezi River. There is time to visit the thunderous Victoria Falls and shop for curios. Dinner is at your own expense at the lodge. (Day 8 B, L Day 9 B))
Chobe River – Livingstone: 100km, 2-3hrs
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport (20 minutes), in time to connect with British Airways, flight BA6292, departing Livingstone at 13h15, arriving back in Johannesburg at 15h00.
