Exeter River Lodge occupies part of the western sector of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, hugging the Sand river. Exeter River Lodge features eight exclusive suites available for accommodation, fitted with private verandas and plunge pools, air conditioning, a deck view of the local watering hole, as well as lounges, en suite bathrooms, mosquito netting on all the beds, and in-house safe, baths and indoor and outdoor showers.


The Exeter area is particularly well known for its leopard populations, as well as lion, cheetah, wild dog, elephant, rhino, and buffalo, as well as a large bird population for watchers in the area.
