Pom Pom lies in a private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Pom Pom Camp offers great Okavango scenery, game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro excursions.
Pom Pom camp is a 12-bedded safari camp built and designed in the style of safari camps of old.
The camp overlooks a scenic lagoon and is built under a grove of shady trees. This is a camp for the safari traditionalist to experience the Okavango. The surrounding area is a mass of reeds, which may be explored by mokoro (dug out canoe).
Gliding through pristine waterways and channels between palm-fringed islands, you can view the game and countless birds which flourish in the waterways.
All the big predators, and Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest can be seen. If you are lucky, some of the nocturnal animals such as Serval, Civet and Genet may be seen on night drives.
