Day 1-3:Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

On arrival at the Victoria Falls International airport, you will be met by your drive/guide who will transfer you to pamusha Lodge where you will spend 2 nights exploring Victoria Falls. Your 3 days include the following.

Pamusha Lodge in Victoria Falls is a full service bed and breakfast lodge accommodation with 24 hr check-in, cocktail bar & restaurant. This 17 bed roomed lodge is nestled in the Victoria Falls suburbia, 2km from the majestic Victoria Falls. All rooms are en-suite, air-conditioned, have overhead fans, DSTV and WiFi. There is also a sparkling swimming pool in a well-developed teak tree garden.

Accommodation consists of 6 single or twin rooms, 9 double, 2 family rooms & 2 Honeymoon Suites. All the rooms are air conditioned and include wall fans, mosquito nets and DSTV..

Pamusha restaurant, open 24hrs serves all meals i.e breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests have a choice Buffet Dinners or our A’La Carter Menu with our signature traditional dishes.

Day 3-6:Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

On the 3rd day you will be transferred to Hwange National park to explore the largest and game rich national park with over 4000 wildlife species. it hosts large herds of elephants, buffaloes and big cats. You will be accommodation at Khulu Ivory Lodge.

Activities: half and full day game drives, estate night drives, visits to Painted Dog Conservation centre, pan & hide sits, guided walks on the estate.

Khulu Ivory is located on a private concession of 6,000 acres on the border of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. The entire camp overlooks an ancient riverbed, in today’s terms called a ‘vlei’. The waterhole in this vlei is known to attract a variety of the greatest wildlife and birdlife in Hwange National Park.

Khulu Ivory comprises of 5 bespoke, thatched, safari style suites built onto platforms and one honeymoon suite. The rooms are contemporary with minimal impact to the surroundings and environment. Each unit has an indoor & outdoor shower and balcony for game viewing. The main area houses a bar, dining area, boma and a plunge pool.

Activities on offer include half or full day game drives into Hwange National Park, night drives and guided walks on the estate and visits to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre.

Day 6-8:MUSANGO SAFARI CAMP, Musango Island, Matusadona

On the 6th day after exploring Hwange National Park you will be transferred to Bumi Hills Airstrip by a charter flight. a boat will transfer you to Musangano Safari Camp where you will spend the next 4 days exploring Matusadona National Park and lake Kariba.

Activities: game drives, walking, drives, boat cruises, canoeing, cultural village visits, fishing and birding safaris

Musango Safari camp is private wilderness retreat in an island in the Matusadona National Park, on Lake Kariba, overlooking the Ume River and Matusadona Mountains. Hosts Steve and Wendy Edwards guarantee personal attention at all times. Musango is the only owner-run safari camp on the Lake.

The accommodation at Musango consists of 6 large twin luxurious safari tents, each with an en-suite bathroom built of natural stone. Musango also boasts two large honeymoon suites with private plunge pools. These tented rooms are set in thick forest, and all face east over the lake, towards the rising sun.

Your professional guide, who is also a photographer and ornithologist, will ensure guests receive nothing but the best whilst at this wildlife paradise.

Activities on offer are safari walks, game-viewing drives, boat cruises, canoeing, cultural village visits and dinosaur fossil trips, fishing and birding safaris.

Day 8-11:CAMP ZAMBEZI, Mana Pools National Park.

On the 8th day you will be transferred to Kariba Mainland by boat then to Mana Pools by air charter to your stay at Camp Zambezi.

Camp Zambezi is a true bush camp on the bank of the mighty Zambezi River – no electricity, no permanent structures, no plumbing – a taste of the way safaris used to be. The camp is designed to be erected or dismantled within hours, leaving no trace of its existence on the surrounding environment.

Adding to its rustic luxury, the camp has comfortable beds furnished with linen and duvets. The large tents have en suite toilet facilities for night use. A long drop toilet and showers (with plenty of hot water) are also provided for day use. Laundry can be done on site. All water used in camp is filtered; however bottled water is also available. Each morning, camp staff fills the wash basins outside your tents with hot water for washing or shaving. Lighting is by hurricane lamp but guests should bring their own torch or headlight. The romantic light thrown by candelabra makes a bush dinner, surrounded by the sounds of evening and a million stars, a truly special African occasion.

Games drives are in open 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers. Walking to explore and learn about the area, with your armed Professional Guide it is the best way to experience the incredible diversity of animals, insects and flora at Mana Pools. Mana Pools can provide some amazing experiences, if guests are looking for close encounters with game. Canoeing is done in 5.5m (18ft) Canadian style canoes, fitted with comfortable seats and cushions. Fishing is also a popular activity from Camp Zambezi particularly towards the end of the dry season – Sept/Oct – when the tiger fish are biting (equipment not supplied).

Day 11:CARIBBEA BAY RESORT, Kariba – Zimbabwe

Caribbea Bay Resort is located a short drive from the town, on the shore of Lake Kariba, one of the largest man-made lakes on the African continent, bordered by Zimbabwe and Zambia.

The well-appointed resort with its 83 rooms, seven of which are suites, has so much to offer. Deliberately fashioned with a Mediterranean coast ambience, Caribbea Bay Resort is an ideal base from which to explore this unique part of Zimbabwe or just enjoy a sun-filled holiday in relaxed comfort. A sundowner on 1 of the 2 pool decks, followed by dinner in one of the restaurants, is only one of the leisure and lifestyle experiences awaiting guests. Children are also well-catered for. The popular Children’s Playground is their domain with waterslides and board games being the big attractions.

Tours to the nearby Kariba Village are a big attraction with guests who wish to get to know the history and traditions of the local Tonga people. Whatever the choice of activity, the staff at Caribbea Bay Resort can arrange a sunset cruise on Lake Kariba, tours into the Matusadona Game Reserve and visit to the crocodile farm. Water sports, from canoeing to the invigorating water skiing, are favourites, while within the resort itself regular water polo matches are played, with guests welcome additions to local teams.

Day 12:HOLIDAY INN HARARE HOTEL, Harare, Zimbabwe

The world famous Holiday Inn brand with its hallmarks of “a great sleep”, “a great breakfast”, “a rewarding stay”, and “a can-do friendly staff”, can be sampled in Zimbabwe’s capital city Harare.

This well laid out 201-roomed hotel is ideally located on the perimeter of the city’s central business district making it an oasis of comfort and tranquillity in the busy capital and is the perfect luxury accommodation in Harare. Ample and secure guest parking gives the option of driving or taking the short walk to the city centre with its many attractions.
