8:00am - 17:00PM
Be treated to a true African experience for your honeymoon that encompasses Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Your journey will begin in Maun and will incorporate beautiful locations in the heart of the Okavango Delta, as well as a visit to the mighty Victoria Falls on both the Zambia and Zimbabwe side. You will be guided through wildlife rich destinations and will stay at renowned camps and accommodation.
Upon arrival at Maun airport you will be collected by Delta Rain Safaris.
Our safari starts in the tourist town of Maun, you have a welcome briefing, before you head out on your adventure. The Okavango Delta is recently designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon we arrive at our mobile tented camp situated in the heart of the Okavango. Dependent on water levels we may travel via Mokoro (Traditional Dug-Out Canoe) or drive into the camp. On arrival you will meet the local staff who will be your host during your stay. A brief introduction to the camp will show your dome tent with twin beds and a bush en-suite bathroom – long drop toilet and a bucket shower. Relax in the mess tent with a cold drink or take a paddle in the lagoon in a canoe. The activities at the camp include Mokoro trails and guided walking.
We will spend a relaxing 2 nights at this camp. Included: Transfer, B, L, D and Accommodation
Most days at camp follow a similar pattern; the clatter of the Water Walla’s bucket lets you know your shower is ready. Up before the sun, you set out on foot, to explore the area once in search of game. Meet at the mess for breakfast then take a Mokoro to explore further. Take time to catch up on your reading or view the birdlife from the mess tent.
Lunch is normally served at around 13h00. After lunch, time is yours to relax or have a go at poling the mokoro’s or ask the guides to find a swim spot for you before the afternoon outing.
At about 3pm you will be offered afternoon tea, before the activities commence. Return to camp in the late afternoon for a sundowner while your dinner is being prepared. The clatter of the water bucket lets you know your shower is getting ready.
During the evening your hosts can be encouraged to share stories around the fire of their lives and lands. Be prepared if your Botswana hosts put on a song for you they will be expect on. Included: B, L, D and Accommodation.
Up early for a quick coffee and our final activity before meandering down the pristine channels back to our collection point. You bid farewell to your polers and crew and make your way to Maun Airport where you will board a light Aircraft plane that takes you deeper into the Delta. After a ±30 minute flight you arrive in the Delta and a short transfer brings you to Pom Pom Camp.
The Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the head waters of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience. Included: B, L, D and Accommodation.
Today you board again a light aircraft and a ±1.5hr flight will bring you to Kasane. Upon arrival in Kasane you will be met and transferred to Chobe Safari Lodge where you will spend the following 2 nights. The lodge overlooks the Chobe River and this area is home to the most dense population of elephant in Africa and everywhere you look you’ll see them – a sunset cruise often means you’ll enjoy watching them cross the river late in the afternoon and bathing.
In addition, you may see predators such as lion and leopard, as well as game including lechwe, roan, sable, buffalo and plenty of hippos and crocs – a great way to end your game viewing experience.
Included: B, L, D and Accommodation
This morning you will be transferred to the fascinating town of Livingstone, Zambia. We’ll be crossing the border, so please ensure that you have all your visa information/passports ready.
Upon arrival in Livingstone, you can relax and explore Livingstone at your own leisure.

On the following 2 days you will enjoy some of the unique activities in Victoria Falls. Today at 8h30 you’ll be collected from the Victoria Falls Waterfront for your Morning Breezer Activity on the Livingstone Island.
The best place to witness this immense mass of water is tiny Livingstone Island, the place where Dr David Livingstone first glimpsed the Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders). A twin-engine boat that carries up to 16 people will take you through the fast-moving channels of the Zambezi, a thrilling journey.
Once on the island, you will be given a guided tour, learning about its history from ancient times, when it served as a sacrificial site, to the present day and its World Heritage status.
You will also have the opportunity to swim in the Angels pools on top of the falls so bring your bathing suits along. Pickup from the Sun Deck at Royal Livingstone.
After your Morning Breezer you will be taken back to Victoria Falls Waterfront to collect your luggage. At 11am a transfer has been arranged to take you across the border to Victoria Falls.

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. We visited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls Tour and a number of national parks in both countries.
Rhino tracking was a real adventure! We had tremendous further game drives and saw very many animals - we did the Big Five. We had much more Victoria Falls Activities than planned and enjoyed very much.We strongly recommend Falcon Safaris to everyone planning a trip to Southern Africa and East Africa.
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing. Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.
We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
We love Africa's diversity and create amazing trips for you. With 30+ years of experience, we customize every trip just for you.
