This is the ultimate Namibia birding adventure, which continues into Botswana to experience the amazing wildlife of the Okavango. On the way you will visit Sossusvlei, Walvis Bay, the Erongo Mountains and Etosha National Park with its unique and varied birdlife, all in the company of your private guide and expert spotters.

1
Day 1-2:Walvis Bay The Rez BB - Superior Deluxe Room
- You will be met by your guide on arrival in Walvis Bay and handed your travel documents
- The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing at your own leisure
- The Namibian coastline is generally known as The Skeleton Coast due to the barren areas, ship wrecks and, in days gone by, whale skeletons left on the beach
- 1 full day is set aside for this lovely area where Walvis Bay offers a wide range of activities such as: Dolphin cruise; Sandwich Harbour excursion (a real Skeleton Coast experience); Dune quad biking; Sand boarding; Sea kayaking; Lots more…
- Spend time at the lagoon photographing the sea birds, pelicans and flamingos
- Lunches and dinners can be enjoyed at any of the many great cafés or restaurants overlooking the sea

Day 3:Central Namibia Erongo Wilderness Lodge DBB + guided walks
Walvis Bay – Omaruru 285km - approximately 3 to 4 hours
- Depart from Walvis Bay via Swakopmund, Usakos and Karibib towards your lodge just outside of Omaruru
- Your guide can also take you on a tour of Swakopmund (if time allows)
- Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and the incredible birdlife of the area
- Guided nature walks are included during your stay with your lodge guide
- Enjoy the sunset and a relaxing evening under the stars

Day 4:Etosha National Park Ongava Lodge DBB
Omaruru – Etosha (south) 275km - approximately 4 hours
- After breakfast and a possible morning walk you will drive via Kalkfeld and Outjo, north to your lodge which is situated very close to the southern entrance of Etosha, the Anderson Gate
- If time permits, enter Etosha for an afternoon game drive. Depending on how often you stop today, you should arrive at your lodge in time for lunch (optional extra)
- On entering the park, the first stop would be Okaukuejo where you pay your entry fee (included) and I suggest you pop in at the local shop to purchase some drinks and snacks and most importantly, a map of Etosha which will show you all the waterholes along the way
- Etosha is one of Africa's great game parks. With 114 species of mammal and 340 species of birds you are sure to see a great variety of wildlife on your safari

Day 5-6:Etosha National Park Mushara Outpost DBB
Etosha (south) – Etosha (east) a full days game drive through the park
- From one side to the other side of the park is a full day game drive as you head slowly east stopping at numerous waterholes along the way
- Take a slow drive in the morning and then enjoy a packed lunch (optional extra) overlooking one of the waterholes before continuing on through the park to the eastern side
- 1 full day is set aside for game viewing with your guide, either all day or alternate with morning and afternoon drives in the area

Day 7:Rundu Taranga Safari Lodge DBB
Etosha (east) – Rundu 420km - approximately 5 hours
- Depart from Etosha and drive east to Grootfontein, then north to Rundu and on to your lodge for the night
- Relax for the remainder of the day and enjoy the surrounding area

Day 8-9:West Caprivi Divava Okavango Lodge & Spa DBB
Rundu – West Caprivi 220km - approximately 3 hours
- Head east from Rundu along the Caprivi strip to Bagani, close to the Popa Falls
- Spend the afternoon on a game drive in the area or simply enjoying the birdlife along the river
- A full day is set aside for a drive to the beautiful Mahango and Buffalo Game Parks, not very big but beautiful as you drive along the Okavango River
- Visit to Popa Falls
- Optional extra would be a sunset boat cruise or a Kavango Village visit in the area

Day 10-11:East Caprivi Nambwa Tented Lodge DBB
West Caprivi – East Caprivi 250km - approximately 3 to 4 hours
- Depart after breakfast and head further east along the Caprivi strip, entering East Caprivi at the Kwando River Bridge
- Your drive today takes you through the Bwabwata National Park
- Enjoy the afternoon at your own leisure. Relax at the lodge or join on a boat cruise (optional extra)

Day 12-13:Chobe National Park Chobe Game Lodge FI
East Caprivi – Katima Mulilo 150km - approximately 2 to 3 hours
- Head north to Katima Mulilo where your Namibia section of this holiday ends
- Your guide will drop you off at Caprivi Adventures in Katima Mulilo and then they will transfer you into Botswana. They will drop you off at your lodge in Kasane which is the town close to the Chobe National Park
- Transfer to the lodge with a lodge representative
- A full day is set aside to enjoy next to the Chobe River on the activities included with the lodge.Game drives and boat cruises for excellent game viewing up close

Day 14:Victoria Falls Victoria Falls Hotel BB - Deluxe Central Room
- Enjoy breakfast and then you will be collected from the lodge and transferred to Victoria Falls into Zimbabwe … your driver will assist with the border crossing which is an experience in itself
- Visit to Victoria Falls this afternoon, either on your own or arrange to go with a guide
- Recommended is a sunset Zambezi boat cruise to end the day (optional extra) or look to dine at The Boma Restaurant for a taste of the African flavours, action, music and atmosphere

Day 15:Victoria Falls END
- Squeeze in a morning activity if time allows. Choose from the many on offer.
- Road transfer from the lodge to the airport in time for your departure flight

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. Wonderful trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana with excellent organization and very competent guides
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing.Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.

We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Fabulous, well planned trip
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
