Day 1:Johannesburg - Sabi Sands Game Reserve
A representative will meet you off your flight from O.R Tambo International and escort you from Sabi Sands North Airstrip to Arathusa Safari Lodge, where you will be accommodated in a luxurious Standard Room. Enjoy the luxuries of a an en-suite, an outdoor shower, and relaxing views of the bush throughout your two-night stay.
Just before sunset, when the nocturnal animals come out to play, venture on a game drive in specialized safari vehicles. Along with your guide and local trackers, embark on a first class game spotting safari and spot the abundance of wildlife that trot the bush. Among them, spot the territorial leopard and large herds of elephant.
Indulge a deliciously cooked potjie (traditional South African meal cooked in a three-legged pot) around the open-air boma under the glistening African sky. The chefs cater to all dietary requirements and tantalizes every palate. Head back to your room and enjoy a good night's rest as the tranquilizing sounds of the bush puts you to sleep.

Day 2: Sabi Sands Game Reserve
A wake up call will indicate the start of a new adventure. Nibble rusks (hard typical South African biscuits dunced and savor a fragrant cup of coffee or tea and revitalize your strength. Head out for an early morning bush drive with your game ranger. Spot the predators that return from their hunting spree and keep an eye out for the Big Five. Savor a sumptuous hot breakfast as you catch your breath before you continue your safari adventure . Embark on a guided bush walk with an armed ranger. Track animals and learn about the local vegetation on educational walking safaris.
Enjoy a light healthy lunch and relax and unwind as you spend the afternoon at your leisure. Take a rejuvenating swim in the infinity swimming pool while keeping an eye out for wildlife that occupy the neighbouring waterhole. Enjoy a tranquil afternoon High Tea with delicacies such as freshly baked cake, tarts and fresh fruit. It is time for another round of game spotting. Make sure that you have your camera ready as you are about to make close encounters with the majestic wildlife. This will be your final chance to spot the famous Big Five during your three-day stay. Your expert guide and experienced local tracker will contribute to making this an unforgettable sightseeing and game spotting experience.
Gather around the open-air boma to indulge a traditional South African meal, prepared on an open fire. Reflect on the game spotting fun while inhaling the aroma of the sumptuous meal that is being prepared, as you listen to the sounds of the nocturnal animals.

Day 3: Sabi Sands Game Reserve - Johannesburg
On the morning of your last day, savor a hearty continental breakfast and before gathering your belongings to return to the city. A representative will transport you to the Sabi Sands North Airstrip, where you will board a flight to O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. At the airport you will meet your onward travelling arrangements.

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. We visited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls Tour and a number of national parks in both countries.

Wonderful trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana with excellent organization and very competent guides
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing.Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.

We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Fabulous, well planned trip
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
