8:00am - 17:00PM
Unexpected wildlife encounters, romantic celebrations, and culinary excellence make this 4 days Exclusive Safari visit an experience exclusive to those seeking a perfect South African safari. This premier Kruger safari in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve enjoys excellent wildlife sightings thanks to the reserve's unfenced border with the Kruger National Park.
Catch a flight from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport to a bush airstrip in Sabi Sands South, Mpumalanga. Upon arrival, a representative will take you on a short game drive to Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, adjacent to the Kruger National Park.
After settling in to the Amber Suite, you will have time to explore the lodge's facilities before having lunch and then embarking on a game viewing activity. An afternoon game drive in a specialized safari vehicle is led by an experienced guide and tracker, trained to lead safari-goers to exhilarating wildlife sightings, some of which may be of the Big Five. The drives extend into the night and free-roaming nocturnal creatures can be spotted.
On return to the lodge, you will be seated for a culinary feast. Your stay at this South Africa safari lodge will grant you the service of a private butler. Enjoy the privacy of your own plunge pool and patio or relax in a stargazing session around a blazing campfire before enjoying an early night's rest.
After an early morning wakeup call and a cup of coffee or tea before departing on a morning game viewing activity. Driving in the bush before sunrise is an opportune time to view game as the bush becomes active while it's still cool. Wildlife sightings might include elephant, zebra and lion.
After the 3-hour game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast which is followed by a guided walking safari. Your ranger will introduce you to the smaller fauna and flora wonders of the bush and share some animal tracking techniques with you. While exploring the bush on foot, be sure to keep a lookout for the diverse species of resident and migrant birds. Alternatively, go on a cultural visit to the local Shangaan community.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some free time in which you can enjoy a siesta or a swim before attending afternoon teatime. Your afternoon game drive departs after you've enjoyed some tea and snacks, and stops a little later in a remote part of the bush for sundowners. At night, the bush becomes increasingly active with predators on the prowl and the nocturnal creatures, such as genets and African wild cats, allow safari-goers to get a glimpse of them. The Amani Spa at the lodge offers a menu of optional classic and traditional African wellness treatments by qualified therapists. There are single and double treatment rooms, ideal for both alone-time and quality time with your significant other.
Dining at the lodge is a magical affair, offering Asian inspired African dishes in an alfresco setting. Meals at this South African lodge are prepared with fresh local ingredients, creating mouthwatering dishes. The outdoor boma invites you to a traditional African celebration, surrounding by the splendour of the wild, while the indoor dining area creates a more elegant ambience. The underground wine cellar has a selection of fine South African wines that will complement any meal.
On the final day of your South African safari adventure, you can enjoy a final morning game drive and breakfast before being transferred to an airstrip in Sabi Sands South. Spot wildlife en-route to the airstrip, where you will board a flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to embark on your ongoing travel arrangements.

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. We visited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls Tour and a number of national parks in both countries.
Rhino tracking was a real adventure! We had tremendous further game drives and saw very many animals - we did the Big Five. We had much more Victoria Falls Activities than planned and enjoyed very much.We strongly recommend Falcon Safaris to everyone planning a trip to Southern Africa and East Africa.
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing. Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.
We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
We love Africa's diversity and create amazing trips for you. With 30+ years of experience, we customize every trip just for you.
