This 5 day Eco-friendly Escape Package to Mozambique is ideal for couples and honeymooners who want a beach holiday which also allows them to experience the regions cultural history. Discover paradise with our Eco-friendly Escape Package where you will stay at a unique eco-friendly lodge which is committed to community upliftment and marine conservation. The lodge is located in a mangrove conservation area and offers fantastic diving for all levels of experience, right off the beach. Explore a range of marine habitats and see amazing fir corals, Parrot Fish, Moorish idols, Green Turtles and Dolphins. Grab a mountain bike and cycle to the Old Portuguese lighthouse in the village. Enjoy a beach picnic and savour tasty treats freshly prepared by the chef.

1
Day 1:Johannesburg - Nampula - Baixo do Pinda
On the first day of your Eco-friendly Escape Package you will catch a flight from Johannesburg O. R. Tambo International Airport to Nampula Airport. There you will complete immigration. You will be met by a driver who will take you in a 4x4 vehicle to the lodge in Baixo do Pinda.
This journey takes around 4 hours and is wonderfully scenic. Once you have arrived in the late afternoon and settled in, have a stroll along the beach, enjoy refreshing sundowners and a tasty dinner before planning the next day. (Dinner Included)

Day 2-4:Memba Bay (Baixo do Pinda)
Spend the next couple of days of your Mozambique holiday exploring the lagoon and bay. In the early morning try snorkelling in the shallows and see many juvenile species of fish. Enjoy a tasty breakfast before relaxing on a lounger or heading out to see what lives in the mangrove forests during a kayaking expedition. Couple snorkelling at Nuarro. Head a bit further out into the ocean and go diving and see Anemoes, Cardinal Fish and Butterfly Fish. Diving expeditions can be done twice or once a day. Set out to explore the peninsula by following the eco-trail or learn about Mozambique's colourful history of local cultures, Arab influences, colonialism and the slave trade.
Take one of the mountain bikes and cycle the scenic route to the Old Portuguese Lighthouse this is a great way to spot the regions local birdlife. Discover the beauty of the coastline while sailing in a traditional fishing boat called a dhow. Stay at the Mozambique lodge and lounge on a hammock and read a good book, with a cooling cocktail close at hand. Search for shells as you take a leisurely stroll along the golden sandy beaches. Couples and honeymooners can be pampered with a rejuvenating massage treatment. Delight in the authentic Mozambique meals served in the restaurant. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 5:Memba Bay - Nampula - Johannesburg
On the final morning of your Eco-friendly Escape there will be time for one last walk along the beach or snorkelling in the warm Ocean before breakfast. Then pack up and be driven back to the Nampula Airport where you will

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. We visited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls Tour and a number of national parks in both countries.
Rhino tracking was a real adventure! We had tremendous further game drives and saw very many animals - we did the Big Five. Wonderful trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana with excellent organization and very competent guides
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing.Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.

We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Fabulous, well planned trip
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
