Flying from Maun to Xakanaxa, explore Moremi Game Reserve and then the Chobe National Park, before ending your adventure in Kasane. Day 01 and Day 02
Upon the arrival of your flight at OR Tambo Airport, you will be met by a Falcon Safari representative who will assist you with your scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Maun. Upon arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met by a Delta Air representative and assisted onto a scheduled light aircraft charter flight to Xakanaxa. Two overnights at Xakanaxa Fly Camp in a standard twin tent with basic en-suite facilities inclusive of all meals, and morning and afternoon game-viewing activities.

Day 03 and Day 04
You will be transferred to the airstrip in time for your scheduled light aircraft charter flight to Khwai for Khwai Fly-Camp. Two overnights at Khwai Fly Camp in a standard twin tent with basic en-suite facilities inclusive of all meals, and morning and afternoon game-viewing activities

Day 05 and Day 06
You will be transferred to the airstrip in time for your scheduled light aircraft charter flight to Kasane Airport for Chobe Riverfront Fly Camp. Two overnights at Chobe Riverfront Fly Camp in a standard twin tent with basic en-suite facilities inclusive of all meals, and morning and afternoon game-viewing activities

Day 07
You will be transferred to Kasane Airport where you will be met by your driver and transferred to Thorntree River Lodge in Livingstone. The transfer will take approximately two hours and will involve customs and immigration formalities. Two overnights at Thorntree River Lodge in a standard double room with private en-suite facilities inclusive of three meals and one activity per day – The activity included is a choice of a game drive, a sunset cruise, a tour of the Victoria Falls. Rates exclude park fees, 10% service fees for meals/beverages not included in the accommodation package, and any variable government taxes. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River and only 15 kilometers upstream from the spectacular Victoria Falls, the lodge blends naturally into the riverine vegetation and commands superb river views from its main deck and private verandas. Thorntree River Lodge has 7 standard rooms and 2 suites offering guests a unique African experience. Each room is beautifully appointed and has en-suite facilities. Clients enjoy delicious home-away-from-home meals using fresh produce and served to the highest standards by experienced chefs and waiters. Thorntree River Lodge offers a wide range of activities including sunset cruises, game drives, cultural tours, fishing, and visits to the Falls. Pontoon boats take guests out onto the river to appreciate the unspoiled beauty. Adventure lovers can experience white water rafting, river boarding, kayaking, bungee jumping, and sightseeing flights over the Falls. Located close to Thorntree River Lodge, approximately 10 kilometers from Livingstone, Zambezi Elephant Trails has been established as Zambia’s first ‘Elephant Camp’, offering a once-in-a-lifetime insight into these gentle giants. Together with this ecologically friendly method of game viewing, a strong emphasis is placed on an elephant experience rather than just an elephant ride, and guests are encouraged to interact with these majestic and intelligent African mammals. Guests meet, ride, touch, and learn about the elephants and their willingness to act under instruction. The training techniques used by Zambezi Elephant Trails are based on the ‘perform and reward’ method as opposed to the controversial ‘discipline and submission’ technique commonly associated with Asian Elephants. The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is resident of many species of game, including wild elephants, with which the domestic elephants freely interact with. We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. We visited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls Tour and a number of national parks in both countries.

Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing.Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.

We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Fabulous, well planned trip
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
