8:00am - 17:00PM
This extravagant 9-day tour combines two of Africa's undisputed holiday highlights: game viewing in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve and beach combing in the Seychelles.Begin your escape in the legendary Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve on a variety of safari activities: the game viewing here is excellent and you'll have plenty of opportunities to spot all the members of the Big 5, even the elusive leopard, sightings of which are something of a speciality in the Sabi Sands.Afterwards, fly to the spectacular Seychelles Archipelago for five days wining and dining at The Banyan Tree on the main island of Mahe. Relax on the resort's white sandy beaches and in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean - your time here can be as busy or as lazy as you like.
Fly from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport to the Singita airstrip in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve where you will be met and transferred to Singita Boulders, one of the region's most luxurious lodges.
Settle in, freshen up, and take stock of your new surroundings. Enjoy an alfresco dinner around the boma fire after an afternoon game drive in this game-rich destination.
Get an early start this morning as you head out on your first morning game drive and watch the sunrise during a break in your search for the Big 5.
After you have returned to the lodge and have had breakfast, head out with your ranger on a bush walk to get a different perspective of the environment and to do some bird watching, tracking and plant identification.
You can also go on a visit after lunch to a local village for a cultural interaction or enjoy a massage and beauty treatment at the health spa as you wait for your late afternoon/early evening game drive.
This morning you'll board a charter flight that will take you back to Johannesburg for a night at Fairlawns Boutique Hotel. Relax and unwind after your flight with a treatment at the spa, a swim in the swimming pool or even a workout at the gym. Enjoy a silver service dinner at the hotel's Terrace Restaurant as you can gaze out over the illuminated city with a glass of fine South African wine.
Travel by road transfer back to the airport and catch your flight to Mahe in the Seychelles. A private transfer will then take you to The Banyan Tree Seychelles, your dazzling accommodation for the next six nights.
Take advantage of the privacy and seclusion of your beachfront villa and relax in your private Jacuzzi and plunge pool - or get a private massage in your room. Enjoy safe swimming and snorkelling in the warm Indian Ocean and the beautiful white sandy beaches of Intendance Bay. The resort offers a variety of restaurants for you to choose from in the evenings.
On day seven, take a full-day tour of La Digue where you will visit Vallee-de-Mai, the only place in the world where the iconic coco-der-mer nut grows in its natural state. Walk through the forest, listening to the calls of the rare black parrot, before spotting dolphins off Anse Lazio beach. La Digue is also renowned for its smooth copra seeds, impressive granite formations and lusty giant tortoises. End a spellbinding day at Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world.
Take a road transfer back to the airport in time for your onward flight. Your tour ends once you arrive at the airport.

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. We visited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls Tour and a number of national parks in both countries.
Rhino tracking was a real adventure! We had tremendous further game drives and saw very many animals - we did the Big Five. We had much more Victoria Falls Activities than planned and enjoyed very much.We strongly recommend Falcon Safaris to everyone planning a trip to Southern Africa and East Africa.
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing. Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.
We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
