9 Days Kenya Luxury in The Bush Safari nearly a half-century ago, and this northern circuit remains as exciting and productive as it was that long ago. Many numbers of wild games have increased, and this is particularly true of elephants. Enjoy some of East Africa's most spectacular scenery in the northern frontier, before ending at Kenya's best game park, the Masai Mara on this Kenya safari vacation package.
The Kenya vacation package begins in Nairobi, East Africa's most dynamic and colorful city. If you arrive early enough, a number of sightseeing excursions are available, including to the famous National Museum, and to the attractions in the nearby suburb of Karen, including Karen Blixen's homestead and Giraffe Manor. True to its name Giraffe Manor attract Giraffes on the premises. They have been known to poke their heads into the dining room - a truly unique experience.
Go on a morning drive from Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve, stopping at the Equator for a photo opportunity. Lunch is enjoyed at the safari lodge, built in the Uaso Nyiro River. After lunch you prepare for your late afternoon game viewing drive through the reserve. Overnight is at Samburu or similar with lunch and dinner included. Wake up early for your morning game drive in Samburu. Here you will have the opportunity to view Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Samburu Ostrich and Gerenuk. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight is at Samburu or similar on a full board basis.
The area is famous for its Elephant, but this is a fragile and marvellous ecosystem with some of the rarest wildlife on earth. Nowhere else will you find the world's most handsome Giraffe, the reticulated, or the rare Grevy's Zebra. The area abounds with the strange, long-necked Impala known as the Gerenuk, as well as the blue-legged Somali ostrich. These creatures will be found nowhere else, but you'll also see many of the regulars, including Buffalo, common Zebra, Gazelle, and the great predators on your Kenya vacation package. You'll be shown around by the reserve's owners, all of who take a personal interest in this marvellous area. There will be opportunities for game viewing and unusual activities, like walking, and possibilities for river safaris and spelunking. Consider this like visiting an American dude ranch, with the distinct difference that you'll be hearing the roaring of Lions at night!.
The time it takes to negotiate the back roads of these very remote wildernesses are hard to gauge, so today's schedule will be leisurely. Most of the morning of your Kenya safari vacation package will be spent on the ranch, and in the afternoon you'll make your way back up the escarpment to Mount Kenya. The evening is spent in the historic splendour of the Mount Kenya Safari Club, the resort created by William Holden and today the site of the famous William Holden Wildlife Foundation. If you arrive early enough, you'll be able to visit the famous Animal Orphanage before the gourmet dinner.
Morning flight into Kenya's finest big game reserve, the Masai Mara. You'll arrive in time for lunch in camp, followed by afternoon game viewing. For three nights on your Kenya vacation you'll enjoy the splendor of a very exclusive camp built on the banks of the Mara River, Il Moran.
Three game drives are included daily from camp in open Landrovers driven by the country's most experienced guides. The Mara is everyone's dream of Africa comes true: gently rolling grassland plains bisected by a number of great rivers. The area is filled with lion and cheetah, and leopards are often found. The plains are filled with wildebeest, hartebeest, topi, eland and much more, and the birdlife is incredible. You can visit a Maasai village and book a hot air balloon ride. Each evening you return to the unbelievable splendor of your luxury camp.
After a full morning of game viewing, fly back to Nairobi, where you'll be returned to your private room at the Norfolk Hotel. Your driver returns in the evening to transfer you to the airport for your departure home. Your Kenya tour package ends here.

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. Wevisited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls and a number of national parks in both countries.
Rhino tracking was a real adventure! We had tremendous further game drives and saw very many animals - we did the Big Five. We had much more activities than planned and enjoyed very much.We strongly recommend Falcon Safaris to everyone planning a trip to Southern Africa and East Africa.
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing. Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.
We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
Our passion for Africa and her rich diversity is what drives us to deliver superior itineraries for you. With over 30 years’ unrivalled experience, we believe your trip should be as unique as you are and so we tailor-make them for you as an individual.
