The Chobe Riverfront area which is also known as the Serondela area is located in the northeastern region of the park. The Chobe River which flows along the northeastern border is a primary watering source, especially during the dry season.

The Savuti Marsh constitutes the western section of the park and is the relic of a large inland lake whose supply of water was cut off a long time ago. The area is also covered in extensive stretches of savannahs and rolling grasslands and is known for the annual migration of zebras and predators.

The Linyanti Marsh is located in the northwest region of the park and lies to the north of Savuti. To the western area is the Selinda Reserve. Between both the Linyanti and Savuti marshes lies an arid hinterland, which is mainly occupied by the Nogatsaa grass.

The Victoria Falls Airport(VFA), Harry Mwangwa Nkumbula International Airport (LVI) and Maun Airport (MUB) are the closest airports to Chobe National Park. Another airport frequented by travellers includes the Kasane Airport (BBK) which is located near the northern entrance of the park.

The nearest airstrip to the park is the Savuti airstrip.
