By car: When travelling via the A3 and the A33, the trip will take just over seven hours. The paved route that connects Maun and Kasane passes through the expansive flatlands of Makgadikgadi as well as other areas that are abundant in wildlife and border Chobe National Park.

  • From Victoria Falls to Kasane

The distance between Victoria Falls and Kasane city is around 84 kilometres. A daily bus runs from Vic Falls to Kasane which take around one hour and a half –an hour. The best way to get to Kasane from Victoria Falls is by taking a drive which takes only 90 minutes.

  • From Gaborone to Kasane

Kasane can be reached from Gaborone via A1 and A33. The drive time is around 11 hours only.

After reaching Kasane on your Botswana Safari, it is essential to hire a reliable 4×4 vehicle and a good map or GPS to navigate through rough and remote roads.
