Bungee Jumping Victoria Falls has to be one of the most insane activities of all the high wire activities in Victoria Falls. The bungee jump is undoubtedly, one of the hardest, scariest, and craziest Things To Do In Victoria Falls. Many people do not have the guts to do this but to those that gather enough courage, the experience is one they will cherish forever and tell their kids and grandchildren for life.
Some claim that it is the best bungee jump in the world because of the chills it brings along. It is not the highest bungee jump in the world because that title belongs to the astounding 233-meter Macau Tower in China, but it is definitely a major adrenalin boost like no other.
So many people have travelled all over the world to give this activity a try even well-known individuals like Ewan McGregor and Will Smith have jumped in. Perhaps it's the Victoria Falls in the background, or perhaps it's just the fact that you are falling freely toward the powerful Zambezi.

Before Bungee Jumping Victoria Falls, you will be weighed, and a crew member will fasten a harness around your body and your ankles. The guides will make sure that the harness is fitted properly and comfortably for your safety. Once everything is done you will then head towards the edge of a platform on the bridge and get ready to jump.
It is advised that you gaze out toward the horizon rather than below. With your arms stretched wide, you take a deep breath then jump. Let the adrenaline flow as you leap off the bridge and plunge down toward the Zambezi River's raging rapids. You will free fall for some seconds before the rope swings you back up several times before slowing to a stop.
The answer is no, you can jump however way you want. Usually those jumping for the first time or those a bit more nervous tend to go for the standard head first dive. The more experienced people and those willing to test their wild side try all sorts of jumping styles from, backflips, front flips and inward tucks, some that are extreme even go with a bicycle or kayak.
To be honest, most people that jump off the 111m bridge have a whirlpool of emotions. The feeling is unexplainable, and nothing feels better than masking the courage to face your fears and soaring through the sky like a champion. Jumping feels terrifying
All the equipment and the elastic rope is checked and rechecked daily for compliance with the appropriate regulations.
With only one reported accident since it began in 1993, the Victoria Falls Bridge bungee is regarded as one of the safest in the entire world. Additionally, it has been in existence for more than 20 years, so you can be confident there won't be any issues. It's a smart idea to go bungee jumping with someone who has never done it before. Without specialized training, you would not be able to observe the majestic Victoria Falls from such a fresh angle.
Clients are expected to either drive themselves there or use the Bridge Bus, which departs the Shearwater Cafe every day at 10 am and 2 pm, as transfers are not included with this excursion. When you reserve your jump, you can reserve your seat on the bus.
Once you are on the bridge, you may be thinking where you can grab a good cold drink and something to eat. You will have worked up quite an appetite with all that energy and excitement.
The Bridge Cafe is perfect since it has a thatched, open-air platform that looks out over the bridge and provides a cool break from the stifling heat there. It also makes a great burger.
The Victoria Falls Bungee Jumping is undoubtedly the most scenic bungee jump in the World. With the Victoria Falls themselves as the backdrop, and the mighty Zambezi River flowing beneath you, this is sure to be the greatest bungee jump you'll ever experience.

We travelled with Falcon Safaris in Zimbabwe and Botswana for 16 days. Falcon designed a wonderful trip with private guide to the most interesting sites in both countries. The organization of the whole trip was excellent, flights within the country, accommodation and activites. The guides were very knowledgable and told us a lot about the countries, their history, people, economy and much more. Wevisited the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, the Victoria Falls and a number of national parks in both countries.
Rhino tracking was a real adventure! We had tremendous further game drives and saw very many animals - we did the Big Five. We had much more activities than planned and enjoyed very much.We strongly recommend Falcon Safaris to everyone planning a trip to Southern Africa and East Africa.
Our Consultant Vimbai was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the Elephant hills hotel which was nothing short of amazing. Our activities included a helicopter flight, dinner cruise as well as a morning game drive. All the activities were absolutely amazing.
We worked with Gertrude to schedule and organize everything and she did an excellent job. I asked a lot of questions via e-mail and she answered everyone in a timely helpful manner. Our guide at Victoria Falls was also great. He met us at the airport, provided a thoughtful tour of the Falls and got us to our next guide in Botswana. Our lodgings at River View Lodge were just as described- very comfortable and excellent food. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful. If I had to do it again I would arrange a morning boat ride as well. We only did the sunset boat rides and they were the high point of our entire trip- we saw so many animals and our guide was very knowledgeable. Just a great experience. Our lodgings at Oddball's Enclave was rustic and we loved it. So great to disconnect from the world for a bit. Leo, our guide, was the best - got us out and about, saw fantastic wildlife and got back to camp safely each time. Doc manages the camp so well. This whole trip was planned and organized by Falcon Safaris and we could not have been happier.
Falcon safaris have given my the correct advice with excellent service. The only suggestion will be to work closer with the lodges to confirm bookings as soon as possible. We have booked and pay our deposit a year in advance. We have only receive our final convermation from Chobe Safari lodge a week before departure. I do realize its not within your controle but with limit alternatives and a group of 14 people it becomes an issue to find alternative accomodation if the booking was cancelled.
Our passion for Africa and her rich diversity is what drives us to deliver superior itineraries for you. With over 30 years’ unrivalled experience, we believe your trip should be as unique as you are and so we tailor-make them for you as an individual.
